I have Halbrook's book on Gun Control in the Third Reich. and am reading it now.

It's truly a cautionary tale on what we're witnessing today and the unintended consequences of short sighted actions in this area.

Everyone concerned with personal liberty and tyranny needs to read it.

I'd recommend it to the protesting young people too, but I'm not sure that reading is their forte.

But half did specifically reference Christianity. They even mention Jesus. Denying that this nation was built on Judeo-Christian beliefs is well,...... revisionist history.

And although I am not John, I am closing the thread as debating Christianity will get us no-where.

BTW, Jefferson cut out what he believed in for his own bible, leaving out references he found objectionable.. Watched an interesting documentary on it.
