PETERS was a interesting company.Very innovative and great artwork on their products.
Their factory was in Kings Mill Ohio, now sadly abandoned.
They where bought by Remington in the 1930's. The Peters name was continued until the late 1960's.
Although Remington used the Peters name on commemorative items later.

Here is a pic of their Police Match line up that I put together. This line was produced from the early 40's until the mid 50's.
Fun stuff.

I should have added a while back, I did purchase a second muzzle nut from Sarco.
They have several parts for the post war .22 kits.

The thread size is correct, but the diameter of the nut is about 5/8" instead of the original 7/16",
so it looks "odd", but accomplishes the purpose of "jamming or locking" the pieces in the barrel.

I'll get a picture and add it soon.

I have two kits and a converted upper. I shoot the kits by hand jamming the nuts together without a washer. This works fine. It prefers using 22 LR Stingers for effective ejection off the magazine. I have the standard ejector removed for 22 LR.

My converted 22 upper (1913 DWM matching #1057) only shoots singles, I need to machine the bottom of the bolt down so it will take a 22 magazine. It has a 22 barrel permanently inserted and the bolt face machined flat with a 22 inset machined in. Then the firing pin & carrier was machined flat and the face has a pin mounted on the left side with a hole drilled in the bolt face. Then I put in a cut down spring for when I get the bolt machined. When I get this all done, I'll post photos... and maybe put my other two kits up for sale.
