Just picked-up a 42 byf, 98% in E/2 holster. Serial number 9793f no bore gauge. Interesting that it has beautiful walnut grips with no markings at all. The gun has been with one family since the war.

no bore gage numbers under the s/n on the barell.

Hi, sorry just noticed this, BYF42 serial number 1529n ....No bore guage stamp. Hope this helps:)

Josef, thanks for the data. According to Jan Still, this is a Bulgarian Contract Luger.
