Open fromthe main site.

I use the 2nd option. I used to use the main page, but then always opened it into the 2nd page on its own window, wider view, more to see was the reason...

Me too, I always use forum.luger forum to get here, that black toolbar on the left covers too much territory.

lew1 01-10-2006 01:40 PM

Likewise, I use the second option.

Hi John D.,

I use the 1st. entry point you listed...

John D. 01-10-2006 09:10 PM

Hey guys,

Thanks for the feedback - and especially Dwight how has sent me updates via e-mail throughout the day!!!

OK- I tried to map the times Dwight sent me and others had posted against the circuit stats..?? The outcome..?? While this is a shared circuit between this forum, the P 38 Forum and one of the Porsche servers I host - I don't see anything abnormal - or would cause the outage??

OK - tomorrow - I'm swapping out the router and try a fresh one. When it's installed - I'll post back here, and we'll try this again..

In the meantime - Thank You to all who have kept this thread updated - and especially Dwight who has kept me updated throughout the day...!

Best to all - and thanks!

John

I open the forum using the rogues gallery page.

John D. 01-11-2006 09:15 AM

OK guys,

I just replaced the router with a new one.. Can you tell me if the "time outs" are still occuring for you??

(Also - Ed T. - tried to call you back last evening..? Can you send me a phone #? Maybe I'm calling the wrong one, or - you know it's me, and not answering - which is more likely ;) ) Heh!

John Sabato 01-11-2006 10:58 AM

John D., I had a time-out trying to send a message reply just a few minutes ago! Had to refresh twice before the forum came back up... and the message was posted.

John D. 01-11-2006 11:02 AM

Sorry JS..

That was me - I was trying to make sense out of a "rat's nest of wires" that are plugged into the routers.... :) :)

Thanks!

JD

John, I just spent some time clicking around on various topics, no hangups, it just might be working again.

If yas gots to ask, you just don't know! (okay, i don't know either)...

But, my guess is that he put in a different router, which 'talked' differntly to the server and vice-versa, I believe it started acting up when John "improved" it with new circuits and a new router a couple of months ago. Sometimes the darn things just don't interface well.

Either that or he gave the squirrels that supply the power more Mountain Dew for energy :D:roflmao::D

Herb 01-12-2006 11:13 PM

Ed, does that remind you of the Army? If it ain't broke fix it till it is!
