I thought that the average age of the members was somewhere in the archives or known by admin. I guess I could take a formal poll but that might be beyond my computer skills. I knew the average age of members was on the "mature" side because money to own multiple Lugers and judging by the expert posts given by so many members that kind of knowledge only comes from years of experience some years more than others. HerrKaiser seems to be the only age challenged member so far, a man his age to afford several Lugers he must be a chippendales dancer. I would shake my money maker if it meant more Lugers in the gun safe (if I had enough to shake) I really enjoyed the posts from the members and got a few laughs. I myself am 54 but like others mentally way younger and physically older sometimes way way older.
Thanks Jim |
Well the average appears to be just under 67 years.
I am about the median, not the mean, although I can be mean on occasions |
I guess I'm average !
1000011 in binary (67) - Baby Boomer |
I wish it was as easy as having a money maker to shake. Instead I had a goal at age 12 to save up to get one. And through a decade of hard work and saving I was able to afford a few. Probably should have been content with the first 2, but man they’re addicting.

65 and one month! Eric

77 and enjoying the best occupation I've ever had .. retirement.
|
Next month I'll be 69. :D
When I was 21, instead of the 4 inch "cannon" on my Luger, I wanted an artillery size. Now, I'd settle for a functional Russian captured, Weimer police rebarreled mix master that toggles snap caps. |
64, and feel like 50 or less ...
|
I'm average too at 67. Still working...
|
According to my wife or the calendar?
Almost threescore... original parts, but some hidden repairs and in need of a general refinishing. Bluing is getting thin in several spots. |

I'll be 83 in June. There will be no party due to the China virus, but gifts are welcome--even encouraged.

I'm gratified to once again be above average.
74 at the moment |
There you go Don--bursting my bubble once again.

76 and feeling every year of it. Had the second knee done in early December and it's taking some time to get over it. Did the first one 4 years ago and it was a walk in the park. When it comes to recovery, age matters.

We burried my Grandmother today at 94. She recounted the wars, depression. What a loss! Loved Rossevelt!

Sorry about your Grandmother. It is always hard to lose family and friends. Bill |

A sure sign I'm getting old: The Browning Nomad I bought new while in college is now a Curio&Relic.

Judging by those commenting, we are all "Curios and Relics".
I just call it "seniority". We earned it. G2 |
