Heinmot,

You mentioned that you have a dent in a FXO mag. Check the For Sale Forum... Forum member and master craftsman "GT" will take your damaged original mags and recondition them to like new mechanical specs for a reasonable fee. This includes dent removal...

He took a code 122 mag (dimensionally identical to the FXO type) that that was damaged so badly (though you couldn't tell by looking at it) that it couldn't even be fully inserted into either of my Lugers and made it mean and lean bullet feeding machine! I highly recommend his services for damaged original Luger mags.

This is good to remember if I ever find a beater I just can't fix.

I fixed mine, and it works great, now. I stared at it for a long time, functioned it, then commenced bending and rerivetted the loading button and the thing feeds slick now.
