Wow!Thanks...I was trying to keep it lighthearted. We are friends after all! I know this subject can twist some tails but I am still a student of leather treatment and I want to find out all I can. Little hard evidence exists though. I know storage is important but leather creams are still a matter for conjecture. Thanks all for your input. Jerry Burney

Hello Susan,
I was rushed yesterday when I saw your great posting and did not have time to digest it in more detail and possibly make a copy... Did you erase your posting for some reason...? Sure would like to see your opinion again, as I recall it was well thought out and informative... Best Regards, Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" /> |
Pete, I found Susan's posting worthwhile also, and feel that even the most "green" (no offense Susan and not meant towards you), even the most green "Luger Collector" brings a different slant or angle to the group!

Susan sent me her posting by PM and I thought it was well thought out and had some good ideas. I was disapointed that she deleted it. I have a copy in my Email if she will allow it I will post it. Susan, let me know. I believe she thought she might have thought she stepped on some expert's toes but I do not know of a leather expert who could not use another opinion. I thought she had a good idea about freezing mold.
Susan, Let me know and I will happily post your article. Thanks all who have participated in this interesting discourse. Jerry Burney |
