Buy the Mini-Maglite. It is painless and non-destructive. If someone doesn't want you shining your little flashlight on their Luger, your question has already been answered.

We don't need any more anti-firearm news events this year. I don't care if it means I have to register every axe-handle I ever own, and submit them to ballistic fingerprinting...
