DVV & Pete, Would you call the Amphicar a "Naval Model"? This would probably fit nicely into Tom As collection. TH

Hey John S.

They even have discussion forums where these crazy guys, and gals, talk about finding original pieces, the pros & cons of restoration, asking how to control rust, mis-firing mechanicals, trying to locate a supply of factory parts, and they even have a "Fest" event once a year.

Sounds vaguely familiar... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />

Pete... are you telling me that there are OTHER forums out there besides this one? Get outta town! I can't imagine spending much time anywhere but here... :)

Do I sense a need for some more indepth information here? :D

Well, here is an interesting subject:

'How to attach your DWM machinegun to a horse'

I certainly hope that this DWM machinegun can not traverse 360 degrees...

If it does, then you will have to train your horse to keep his head below it's shoulders or it will suffer the same fate as the propeller on the first machinegun equipped WW1 airplanes before they were able to time the firing sequence between propeller blades. :(

If it doesn't, I don't want to be the one who has to train the horse to walk backwards into battle... :D
