All,
A few points of fact. First, an Are Cee was the equivalent, if not superior to the coka cola because you got more for your nickle. Second, a true conniseur would mix a nickle bag of planters with a nickle bag of M&Ms and, after having a big ole swig or two, pour a 50/50 blend of the two into the are cee and, after affixing the thumb tightly across the mouth of the bottle, shake vigorously. Decorum demanded that the thumb be removed within 10-15 seconds and the resulting hypervelocity sugar rush be delivered to the nearest open mouth which may or may not have been the shakers.
