Pete, Just looked at this stream again. My friend's Kreighoff was a 1943 but he doesn't remember the s/n. The time period was 1994/5. Sorry for the delay, I just don't look down this column. Jeff

I know that I had a photo of an uncorroded takedown lever with a hole in the center of the knob... I will keep my eyes open for it as I browse, but can dedicate the time to search specifically for it since we are talking several thousand photographs and most are not sorted...
