Very unique display boxes! You should make some to sell! I would buy one.

Perfect!!

will!

Hi Neil, I'm glad that they will stay in the family... but, that is waaaaay to easy! At least hide them all around like Easter eggs? :) Best to you, til...lat'r....GT

Major Tom--I've made some to sell. They are made to lock each Luger in place to avoid people slipping out one at a gun show when the seller is otherwise occupied. Each individual Luger can be easily unlocked by the seller to allow prospective buyers to inspect the pistol closely. So, most collectors do not need the locking feature. Besides that, there is so much work involved in their fabrication that the required price is much more than most are willing to pay. It's hard to get reimbursed for your labor.

What's you collection goals or strategy ?
What's on your wish list ?

Neil Young 08-28-2021 02:45 PM

Mac Cat--I am 83 years old. My current collecting strategy is to sit back and enjoy my Lugers and the Imperial Cavalry memorabilia that I have collected to go with them. So, my past strategy has been to concentrate on Imperial Cavalry stuff. I no longer keep a wish list. I am not looking to buy anything but occasionally something comes out of the woodwork that rekindles my "got to have it" past. I resist the urge to buy but I'm not always successful.

I hope that that answers your questions. Thanks for asking.

Neil

Wonderful Collection and beautifully displayed. The individually locking capability for each pistol is a remarkable design feature and is every bit as functional as your P08s. Moreover, the cherry you use cannot be beat in its richness and warmth it displays. Where most of us simply make sawdust, you make art!

Ron

Thank you Ron, I appreciate the compliment. Since you have seen them first hand, you can really appreciate the richness of the woods used. The walnut is nice too.
