Every drop of petro-fuel should remain right were it is until/unless the techniques are developed to use it safely. The prices of denying the science, avoiding changes, or changing too slowly seem higher than many want to pay, but this is short-term thinking.

Hi,

Though we may disagree on the "solid science" we can agree on working to develop solar power as a cost effective alternative.

By the way, back in the mid seventies scientist were absolutely sure we were entering a sustained period of global cooling!

I was initially devastated by post #1, but pondering the serious issue raised I don't feel I've been had. Roadrunners are small and more agile than coyotes. And in this particular roadrunner was smart and the coyote stupid.

I'll take smart and agile over fast and stupid any day. The roadrunner will remain my role model.
