If it helps, un-blueing the firing pin, sides of the extractor, trigger bar and safety slide is an easy undertaking. It doesn't make the gun right, but it might make it easier for you to live with.

Oh? That would honestly be something I want to do. How would one go about accomplishing such a task? Keep in mind, I'm pretty ignorant and uninformed.

Ordinary white vinegar will remove bluing. On a piece like an extractor, where you want to remove only the bluing on the sides, a lot of care is needed. Otherwise you can just leave the parts sit in vinegar for a while and rub gently.

interesting... that's pretty simple! haha. I, unfortunately, dont exactly know how much of what is supposed to be blued or not blued, like the extractor and safety pin thing. Also, side note... is this rust something I should try and remove?

Not sure how bad the rust is, but you can try to carefully minimize it and keep the area lightly lubed. But "above all do no harm".

I would leave well enough alone if I were you. Removing those small parts so that they can be de-blued is tricky, which is the reason they were blued in the first place. It was just too much trouble so the whole gun was immersed in bluing solution instead of being painstakingly disassembled. Even were you to succeed you would never restore this gun's virginity.
