Your magazine 3531i is from 1936.

thanks! It actually doesnt fit very well compared to the blued mag.

It has some gouges on the back that have been cleaned up but they may be enough to stand proud.

So I wiggled the trigger back and forth sideways and the notchy grabbing during trigger reset went away. I may not have had the new trigger spring full seated.

You may need a gunsmith; one with Luger experience.

My first LUGER was an used and abused 1942 Mauser Russian capture.
She tought me a lot, as I learned how to complete disassemble a LUGER, lube and reassemble it.
I used to take it to the range on Saturday afternoon.
Stupidly I sold it to a friend some years ago.

Check and lubricate the little disconnector plunger on the front of the sear bar. It has a small spring inside that keeps it pushed out after the trigger is released. Things may be sticky in there.

that helped! I kind of want to replace that spring as I have replaced all the others.

If it moves freely after lube, leave it alone. It is not a "strong" spring, but needs to move easily and "snap" if released quickly.

Finding one is next to impossible; if you must do something because it does not function correctly, at most carefully remove it and clean with penetrating oil, and clean it's recess. Re-assemble and your good.:thumbup:
