Then I'm having trouble seeing how it works... :(

The forearm doesn't seem to have any spring in it...

It is under/behind the plunger located in the left assembly of the fore arm.

The inside foward grip is matching and carved in wood!

So that's a plunger and not a slot? In that case, it works backward from what I expected...I had thought the idea was to help the barrel recoil backwards, not help it return to battery... :rolleyes:
