While visiting a local gun shop recently I was asking about any Lugers they had. The owner turned around and grabbed a plastic cup full of parts and said "just this one".

The cup contained what appeared to be most of a Luger in pieces.
On the grip strap of the frame was stamped "A. Hitler".

(I've been meaning to stop back by the shop and get a photo of the frame just for laughs.)

So don't try to pass off your Luger as belonging to Hitler 'cause I know where his real Luger is! :roflmao:

Looks like a DWM upper on a Mauser lower (note Mauser hump).

That is what I see too; only DWM would have produced a receiver dated 1921, and there is the Mauser hump.

Speer's Luger
 
This pistol sold for $10,950. The provenance was not very good.

Bah! That's really a lot of money, especially for that gun, really there must be people around with a lot of money to spend.
