They're surely trying hard, lot of "gun extremists" here too, they believe they can create a gun-free Utopia where violent crime doesn't happen and nobody ever gets hurt.

Let's kee the fingers crossed.

I don't want to interfere with the politics of your country, but thanks to the Net I'm following what media say about the last mass shooting and President Obama's words and I don't always agree with them at all especially with the latter , but I found this picture that I'd like to share if you don't mind in your own thread.

All the best

Sergio

No truer words! I miss my old hero! Our best president in that century~~~~!!!!

In our recent shooting, how come only the bad guys had guns???? Shame On Someone!!!!!!!

FWIK California has one of the most restictive gun laws, and even if all guns were banned these b*****d couldn't be stopped, nothing can stop these people that want to kill, if they don't have a gun they would probably use a bomb or a knife or God knows what.
IMHO

I believe any federal building is a gun free zone, and bringing guns to a gun free zone is illegal. The result is that everybody who obeyed the law was a sitting duck, just waiting to be shot by those who didn't obey the law. What a surprise this must be to the lawmakers.

The (so called) gun free zones are prime targets for sure, and it's about time to do away with them. I haven't kept tabs, but I would say that the vast majority of the mass shootings have happened in these "gun free zones". Try doing it at a mud race in Alabama, or a rodeo in Texas. You would probably see the perp going down in seconds, then tied to a tree and used for target practice.

The sign should say, "Gun Free Zone, Enter At Your Own Risk"

First of all I don't want to interfere with your Country's business, and I wouldn't wand to talk about things I' not prepared enough, BUT I really can't understand President Obama tears of the other day.

After all, if Im not wrong during his administration the States have exported more guns than in the previous years.

cirelaw 01-06-2016 11:12 AM

Only one more year too long!!!!

John Sabato 01-06-2016 11:57 AM

Even longer than that Eric... it is a year and two weeks until our next presidential inauguration day... seems like an eternity to me... :(

cirelaw 01-06-2016 03:11 PM

There is no doubt flooding on its way for some of us! How best to protect our collection assuming there is indoor flooding~~ Eric

This thread has somehow degenerated into a political discussion on gun control...Not how to save guns from water damage...

cirelaw 01-06-2016 03:16 PM

Richard, Thats ok! My purpose is to get our friends talking!! No hard rules in any of my threads ~ Protection of guns in every form is the issue! Eric

That's a political discussion. If you want to talk politics, ask your congressman why 13,365 people died in 2010 as a result of drunk drivers and no meaningful legislation has come of it.

US Bureau Of Transportation

Why aren't they cracking down on drunk drivers??? They kill more every week than guns do all year.
