May I ask what you paid for it? I find I'm getting more and more interested in these pre-WWI Parabellums. Like you I feel the "need" for a nice example. If you'd rather not that's perfectly fine. Asking price was a modest $1800.:cheers:

AE Lugers seem to be plentiful, though many have been well used.
Any Luger in .30 cal hurts the price a lot and limits sale appeal to many buyers.

That strikes me as a really fine price, although I'm not that knowledgable about these earlier Lugers.

Early Lugers 1900 and 1900/06 have always been special to me, and for that price that one looks like a bargain...
