Tom, I wondered if they did anything else other that applying the stamp. For example parts replacement or repairs that may result in mismatched proofs or serial numbers~ Were they all matching? Eric

I'm pretty sure the U Boat Commander featured in the film is KorvettenKapitan Gunther Prien, who snuck through the nets into Scapa Flow, sank the British Battleship Royal Oak and lived to tell about it.

Eric, If all the parts of your LPO8 are matching, it's probable that it was just marked "1920" without any rework. Although it's difficult to say for sure without seeing the markings on each and every part. Tom
