Yes, the actual M16/M203 used in the movie Scarface.

The M203 is actually a 37mm flare launcher, but that was typical for Hollywood back in that era, when real M203 were not readily available.

Wow,......I misunderstood (as usual). I thought that your friend owns M203 (any, run of the mill M203!). He actually has the movie prop!? Any documentation with it? Any provenance? I know the one in the movie was a 37mm flare launcher (back in the 80s one could buy as many one would want in SGN).

Yes, he has provenance out the Wazoo. The gun came out of the mass sell-off of Stembridge Gun Rentals in Los Angeles back in the 90s. Dan Shea of Long Mountain Outfitters brokered the entire collection. My small group got first shot at a lot of things prior to the sale going public. There was no bidding. They were simply priced at market with a premium for the Hollywood connection. I know who owns the Terminator lever action shotgun, the AK with the notches on the stock from "Red Dawn", the MAC 10 Jamie Lee Curtis drops down the stairs in "True Lies", Thompsons used in "Dick Tracy" and "The Untouchables", Several Lewis Guns used in the original "KIng Kong", etc.

I'd love to hve gotten into the Stembridge vault before the sale. There was some really cool stuff there, and not just the "icon" guns.
I got a top lid cover for a Maxim 08/15 that came from there, but right now I can't think of just how it all came about.

That's just cool! If I would have the "Little Friend", I'd track Pacino down, and let him sign it. It would increase the value tenfold. And it's not about the money, the movie is one of the all time classics. I'm not into that stuff (collecting movie memorabilia), but having the thing framed, with all paparwork, on the wall of my den, would just be cool.

I have carried a wide range of handguns, among those a Beretta 1934 made in 1941, a Colt 1903 made in 1927, and even a Beretta 950 Jetfire in .25 ACP. I live in Florida where a t-shirt and shorts are the norm and pocket space is sometimes pretty small. I've never given the Luger a serious thought as a concealed carry weapon for the fact of size, perhaps a baby Luger cut from a more recently manufactured gun might be suitable when carried with the safety on?

'Just curious......what would be a good grouping at 10 yards? With my Glock 34 I can fairly consistently group about the size of my palm or a bit tighter. 'Can't do as well with my Luger which I chalk up to the inferior sights. I did manage to do pretty well once, with the Luger, at 25 yards.
