John I attended Villanova Law School right down the Main Line! Shucks!!
|
I had friends that went to Villanova... and St. Joseph's... but I went to LaSalle... it was all an male school at that time... it is Co-Ed now... in our ROTC training (ARTILLERY School) we used to run mock artillery fire missions on the other schools that were within 105mm Howitzer range. " ...Raise THREE, Right TWO, Charge FIVE, and fire for effect!" :D Sending those imaginary rounds downrange was fun!

Even though law school is coed, girls that went to law school had their own criteria. Slim pickens!! A series came out years ago, "The Paper Chase" and the contacts professor was heads on! Always "Who sueing who for what". He had a poster board on his stand with all of our names and where were seated including our photos. Who whould be chosen next?? We didn't even have time to get a cheese steak and many a night a swanson tv dinner instead. It was a great experiance and would't trade it for anything. Eric, Juris Doctor!

Just thinking back now. I remember taking the MG08 to 6 grade school for "show and tell". Had to take it on the bus. All the teachers loved looking at it. Boy that thing was heavy.
Can you imagine doing that today! Bob |
It was a different time in America. I think we felt we were more safe in both our homes and neighborhoods. We defended our block with platic guns and soldiers~~~~~Shooting in malls reinforce just the opposite today!! ~ Eric

I wish I knew that when living outside of Villanova and the Main Line into Philly! Eric
