"This is what happens when two individuals with more money than brains and fueled by testosterone "just gotta have it".
Don't be surprised if you see this gun listed again after the buyer sobers up."

Again I agree completely with Doug, these things don't happen only for lugers but also for cars, houses, anything that somehow represents some sort of "status symbol"; my only wonder is why is the price so high, that gun is not that rare after all ... bah!
Who knows, my ex mother in law used to say: "There is nothing as strange as folk... "

There are some people don't know what to bid, just bid on what other people are bidding. Please do me a favor -- I have one flatside listed on AA, reserve $3500. If you can help to bid to $3400, or $3450, I appreciate that -- all you have to do is to create an impression -- you won't reach the reserve and won't have any obligation so don't worry -- just create an impression to public that this is a hot item... the purpose is to attract the winner of this byf, it's nothing for him, he needs a pumper, I need one buyer :)

It's popular on tourist sites. For example, one guy sells miniatures of a landmark building of the site asking crazy price, a few guys surrounding say "Oh, this is so nice! Price is much lower than the value!!! Isn't this genuine gold on the model's roof? How could you sell it so cheap???" etc, etc.

But don't worry. I am not selling garbage. Just fair value. Maybe surprising, but I found lots of people cannot tell a gun being original or not.

[Edit] Never mind. Just a joke :)

Read newspaper, saying a group of tourists visited HongKong, the guide led them to a superstore (of course not selling vegetables, but selling expensive jewelry, gold, jade, blah blah). On road, the tourists had already been 'educated' stuffs in that store were 'cheap'. But those tourists were not kids, they knew this game, and they knew the market price and did not buy anything in that store. The guide and bus driver were angry. After going out of the store,,,, instead of moving the tourists running inside the city, they drove the bus to a big local cemetery and ran 5 hours there.

Mike Zomber, he of the "million dollar Luger" fame, went to Club Fed for this kind of pumping. Just sayin'.

Does not work..... I bet Mr. Winner is on vacation. Probably on cruise to Europe or Caribbean.... God knows. It should not be considered being pumping though, item vs item, at least this one is a much better choice than that lousy $10K byf,,,, and $8K Red 9,,,, Especially byf, the book value of excellent byf is only $1500.
