Sorry, forgot the link to the IMA wooden holsters: http://www.ima-usa.com/catalogsearch...eather+Holster

It works great with my Bolo Mauser.

Atlanta Cutlery has one for the same price, but it looks much nicer than the one you have pictured. I don't think you are going to find one much cheaper, unless its used. There is a lot of work that goes into one of these rigs.

I believe the IMA and Atlanta Cutlery examples are the same item. The difference is in the color of the wood finish and shade of the leather. Otherwise, identical......same price and description.

Well, went to the range this morning and decided to bring the mauser with me. Most of the rangemasters are probably in the late 60s to 70s in age. I pull this thing out and the first guy does a double take. Tells me he's seen them in movies, but never in person So I let him check it out, then he calls over another rangemaster. Everyone thought it was neat to see a old relic like this.
On a positive note it fires off 9mm fine. Only issue I had was after one shot, pulled the trigger and the hammer would not fall. I pulled the bolt back and pulled the trigger and everything worked like it should. I shot another 20 rounds afterwards with no issues.
I think its a been there done that with the mauser, Going to give it a thorough cleaning. (guy I got it form said he never cleaned it) and its headed for the safe for awhile. jim

I'm glad it shot well. A lot of fun at the range when others show interest.

it was fun, we had a few guns out there, a glock 17, couple of 1911's, ruger .22 std model, the broom handle, for long guns a garand, AK 47 underfolder, PSL. Funny thing out of everything we shot, the glock was the only gun that didnt have any issues, The other guns had at least 1 failure to feed or eject. But we did blow through quite a bit of ammo and my friend never used my AK before so he didnt just let the bolt slam home.
Im definetly planning to go out more often this year. jim
