CA and MA - the 2 states that the rest of the country rolls their eyes and continually asks "how can those people vote for the morons they do". My sincere apologies as a MA resident to all of you for Senators John Kerry, the incoming Elizabeth Warren, and all the Congressmen from this state....

And the saddest part of all about the MA firearm restrictions is that importance of the Second Amendment was proven in Lexington MA, on an April morning in 1776........

Just found out from a dealer that MA actually has 2 handgun approval lists - both from the Executive Office of Public Safety, and the Attorney Generals office. So while Ruger MK3s are approved by the Executive Office of Public Safety for their mag disconnects and loaded indicators, the MK3s have been recently removed from the Attorney Generals list. Under MA law, to be legal for sale in the state, the gun has to appear on both lists. Liberalism at its best!

What a joke.

Interesting, no Springfield guns on this list.

MA residents used to say "its made here but cant be sold here". That was until it got so bad the companies just moved out of state. Savage arms was the latest. Im really surprised Smith and Wesson is still here...

What type of state/local incentives do they receive ?

Steve Lempitski 12-16-2012 10:18 AM

I dont know if any...as the state is so antigun, I would they imagine that behind closed doors the govenor wishes the entire industry would move out of state, even though it means the loss of tax revenues and jobs.
