Since it lost the original windowed grip panel, I would think it's a regular 1902 fat barrel with mismatched grip panels.... probably plus some amount due to the s/n.

Is the situation like a "Party Leader" PPK without the eagle grips, except the s/n range being known in this scenario?

Hi Alvin, I don't collect these guns but I do know that their frames differ from those of regular AEs. The internal web has been machined away so that the slot in the magazine is visible through the grip. Regards, Norm

Thanks! Frame modification a great point. I feel this CC is most likely real.

From the photos, the front of the frame and the serial numbers make me queasy.

True! But.....What about the barrel? Doesn't it look ok with matching number?

Dwight Gruber 05-01-2012 07:29 PM

Queasy. no.

Nope. Might be for one of the 1970s Mauser commemoratives since the index pin is so far down from the top of the magazine. I don't think the frame of the Mauser repros were modified. It certainly isn't a $1600 item.

Can anyone explain how it works? Is there a special mag. Can the number be duplicated. Yes I,m very jeolous!!

Thats one gun after which there is no other luger. Yea! Maybe I'll hit the lottery. What do you consider second place?? 1900 GL Presentation excluded for obvious reasons!~

If by correct you mean is it an original 1902 Cartridge Counter holster, of course not. It is a modern holster, probably from the late '70s made by Hunter. You can see the trade mark on the back of the holster.

Thats it,

Thank You Ron!!
