I actually did a little bit better :), I got it for $800.

I also bought a tool that is droop eagle 63 would this be a correct one for this pistol? I am not sure if the picture is good enough to tell but there is an earlier eagle and number 63 under it.

Steve, very nice 39 s/42 code. I have one to with same code and year. Mine also has the same plum colored extractor and for $800 even better. I'll bet you are very happy with :)

I will be happier when I find the correct grips for it :) It is never enough is it? :)
It looks like I might have to look for the SE 63 marked tool as well. I have a DE 63 marked tool but that won't work.

I was wondering what kind of markings do you have on your grips? Do they have SE63 on them? Matching numbers?
