I do have a question.
All of the special made grips I have seen for the Ideal stock are smooth walnut.
Those pics by Bob Sptizer show his with checkered grips. Did the Ideal company originally make both styles or are the checkered ones custom?

I guess these Ideal stocks are a part of Luger history, but damn, they're ugly.....who in their right mind designed these things? You're supposed to place:eek: those jagged metal plates in your shoulder for firing?
