Bore cleaning: I have some that were pretty bad. I first take everything apart and clean. Using a bronze brush on the bore from the breech. I like Butch's Bore Shine, but I'm sure any good cleaner will work. Then to the range. One round, swab out with a patch. (magazine out!) Another round, swab out. This for 7-8 rounds. Then disassemble and do the brush/cleaner. Sort of like breaking in a new rifle barrel. Works good!
