You know, if the Lugerman spent as much time working on the projects he has lined up and a lot less time taking such nice photos, he would be all caught up.

Despite the fact that this work looks good, it still took a threat of legal action to get it accomplished,... and without a reasonable explanation... I would never recommend that anything of value be sent to this guy... and if he has parts that you desparately need, and can't get somewhere else (like LugerDoc), I would insist on C.O.D... never money in advance.
Too many complaints from Lugerforum members on this guy to recommend anything else. That's my $0.02 |
My Completed Mauser and Lugerman...
You’re right, John. If I had not gotten my lawyer involved and sent him those letters I would most likely still be getting excuses and promises of “four more weeks.” If he had just contacted me on occasion to inform me there was going to be a significant delay I would have been fine with that, instead I was always the one chasing him down for an explanation.
And it is too bad. I had original intentions of sending him more work – the guy could have made a few bucks off of me alone – but instead I’m now looking for someone else. If anyone is considering sending Eugene work best to establish a firm completion date in advance and stick to it. Maybe keep your own letter of intent ready in advance, just in case. Also keep all your records and receipts – again, just in case. |
Its really too bad that somebody with that much talent won't bother to keep his customers informed about work in progress. I know its hard to break away from doing something that you enjoy but satisfied customers are the best advertising available and unhappy customers can destroy a reputation fast.
