A clip is what you get in the barber shop. A magazine is what you read when waiting for the barber. A stripper clip is available in only a very few, very expensive barber shops.

I know its shorthand, but there is no 7mm luger round, there is a 7.65mm aka 30 luger, a 7mm mauser is a rifle cartridge, which has clothes on and is not expensive compared to Heinze' choice of barbers when he was young and single. :D

Noob Lyger owner (but have had long-time Luger envy) and just purchased a 1920 DWM in 7.65mm. Now the big questions:

1) Where can I get spare magazines (don't want to damage the original one I own)?

2) Does the 7.65mm mag also fit a 9mm cartridge? just making sure!

3) Where can I get the cartridges at a reasonable price (yes, subjective, but I think you know what I mean)? At the very least, what is the specific type of ammunition I need to find for my 7.65 so that I can take it to the range?

Thanks.

:)

In 1961 as a NRA member, I bought a Colt 1911A1 and an Inland M1 Carbine from the DCM for $35 each and they were mailed to me through the US Postal System. They were both supposed to be "arsenal refurbished", but looked virtually unfired to me. My how things have changed!!:crying:
