grips too narrow for the gripstrap?

Rylan,
First off....you got a great deal, no matter how one looks at it...i would have snapped it up in a heartbeat.
I have 2 so called Black Widows, and your grips are not only (in my opinion) original, but have the perfect fit, showing a tad of the gripframe.
You can buy an original fxo mag to match the gun...
You got a sweet deal.
Love Canadians by the way!.

Thanks for the positive feedback. I would be really happy if the grips turned out to be real, as for the original fxo mag... I have 2 black plastic bottomed ones which I think are all original and would be correct. Thanks agian!

btw, there is a gun show tommorow.. might pick up some more neat stuff :D

Ryland,

As John S. previously mentioned, the best way to determine if BW grips are legitimate or not is to see good, detailed photos of the inside surfaces of both grips.

"Undersized" grips can sometimes indicate more modern-day versions, but a look at the inside surfaces is usually the best bet.

Also, the hardness and density of real BW grips versus the lighter plastic repros also helps determine what a pair may be.
