Jack...I urge you all to at least disassemble an authentic holster carefully enough to learn what Jerry taught me in those 3 (full) days it took me to restore mine.
After the members do this, then what do you urge? Who in their right mind would take their holsters apart? Do NOT try this at home without the expert tutiledge of your local Saddler! Thanks for the accolades. Ha Ha! Jerry |
Oops, Jerry, I already took mine apart. Can I send it to you???

David,I remember a gunsmith I knew, people often walked into his shop with dismantled guns in a bag! Easy to take apart, not so easy to get back together! Jerry Burney

I did that once in my younger days. Since I've been a bit more cautious when taking them apart.

..no, it's not true! I did not had to ask a fellow forum member for help regarding a certain bag of C96 parts some weeks ago. Whatever he says, it never happened I tell ya! Never!

A tip I gathered from reading a book on auto repair. Seems this guy couldn't get a four barrel carb back together and put it in a bag and told the shop his son did it!

The son got even. He told his teacher that his dad had helped him with his homework.
