Thanks tom, I have seen a few "S" in our simson database, not sure of the meaning yet, if it was for Simson ( S ) marked toggle, then it should be on every S toggle gun, wouldn't it? So being on a few makes me think that maybe it IS a rework, as my database also shows that virtually all the police guns are marked with certain acceptance and in the "a" suffixes!

So, I am thinking, the S is a rework of their guns or certain parts...

Mr Ed, according to Costanzo, page 109, Evolution of eagles, he gives the following data for that S/E/6. "1934 Simson contracted Schmeisser to produce a ultra high quality, stainless steel, nickel plated magazine for commercial sales. The letter "S" in proof denotes a Simson and Co. salesman's sample of the 1935 commercial sales line. Note: One of a kind, in autor's collection" Well, well, seems like you have a magazine from the collection of ole Sam hisself, congrats, that's a nice find.

That would be nice :)

But, somehow I think my theory is closer to the truth :D

Herb 12-16-2005 11:44 AM

Possibly, but your theory is a whole lot less valuable!!

I like your new patch Herb.

Most of the ones I wore were fairly boring ;)

Thanks, I found several of them but thought this one was the best, I'll probably change it now and then as the mood hits me. This one looks like it has a Great Dane rather than a horse on it, that is the main difference, the depiction of the horses head.
