import marks are such a shame! I feel for you that that had to be done to those nice pistols.

I am interested in the dented side plate explanation from someone on the forum. I have a 1900 with a non-matching sideplate with a dent that looks very much on purpose. The trigger let off did not jump out at me until I read it here. Was this the reason?
