Ed Tinker's "Simson Lugers" is pure excellance. retraces this luger's familys' history and had to forfeit the entire factory and psessions to the nazis

My first luger reference was "Lugers at Random" by Datig in the 1970s. Still one of the easiest to use (chroniclogical) and best for beginners with photos on the page opposite the detailed into. TH

Luger Variations by Harry Jones, 4th printing March 1975. I bought it at the big Houston Astro Hall Show in 1975 and still have it. I think Harry Jones had a table there, and that was my first gun book.
