Jerry and Family,
The Prayers of You and the Others of, and through, this Forum have sustained me through these last couple of dark years.
I'm thankful for the peace of mind that the prayers, of all of you, have extended to me.
Now it is my time to say to you;
You shall remain in our thoughts and prayers until we again hear that you you are returning to full health and have moved beyond pain into a much better life that awaits you .
And then we shall pray that GOD sustain us all!
Gott Mit Uns Mien Freund !

Jerry and Kidvett, Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Jerry, enjoy summertime Colorado. Beautiful! Kidvett, enjoy the lounge at home!

Viggo, We've got mittens too! That's what the American troops used to yell accross no mans land at the Germans as a taunt.
I surely will let all of you know how this turns out...As for enjoying Colorado I don't know, they plowed 30 inches of snow off my mile long driveway the other day. I'm just hoping I can get to my house!Jerry Burney

I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello,

John D. thanks for the kind thoughts...I was not going to tell as I'm kind of a discreet guy...

To all, thanks for the warm wishes...Being forced home in recovery for the next 2 weeks will surely give me some time to go through my stuff & find interesting topics to discuss...

As a matter of fact, I found early this morning an early HSc with a laynard loop....

Sorry to get in here a bit late, but to Jerry and Ellie, all my best wishes. Jerry has done a wonderful job with several of my holsters, and for that I am grateful. Hopefully, he will continue to do even better, as hip replacements almost always remove the pain that has been endured for so long. Jerry and Ellie, in my career as a doctor specializing in arthritis for over three decades, I have seen many hundreds of hip replacements. Yours should go very well as the science and technology for this procedure have improved greatly. Denver is a great medical center. You are getting the best. My thoughts and prayers are with you both.

Herb, Mauro...Thanks much. I appreciate your opinions Herb. It means a lot to me. Ellie should not have asked but you know how Women are. Thanks for taking the time to write back about it. I am confident it will be much better than what I have now. Jerry

Gentlemen,
Ellie here, Jerry's surgery went well, recovery will be a bit longer than thought, but all is well. Thank you Ed and Ron for the "stop by" and call, took his mind off of the conditions.
Will be in Denver for a few more days.
Happy Hunting...

Ellie, I saw that lugerholsterrepair was on, but figured he was either REALLY tough or else you were on the forum! Since surgery knocks the best of down for the count! :D

Hi Ellie..happy to hear that Jerry is doing well...what else could you expect after all he is a paratrooper.

Great news, Ellie! Hopefully, Jerry's "bit longer" recovery will be just that and he will be up and around in no time. The Orthopedic docs nowadays get patients up practically the next day, especially one of Jerry's youth!

lugerholsterrepair 03-31-2004 11:02 PM

Hi Guys,
Ellie again, Jerry was UP today, starting PT, doing GREAT and very determined. I am both amazed and relieved.
Thanks for all of the support.
Ellie
