I would also like to see more independent newscasts. I am amazed that i see the same stories and SAME footage on two different stations.

Oh the horror!!! The press and polling organizations just don't want to accept responsibility for being negligent...

We can sympathize with their problem... Their advertising revenues have sunk to the point that they had to eliminate much of their staff - including a number of very competent journalists. They probably pruned away the expensive (and competent) ones, and kept many younger, more inexperienced and more socially relevant appearing reporters. You know - the ones with less experience to base their judgement upon...

Now - what to do! We press outlets have their image to uphold and their legacy to protect.

Unfortunately, like much of the progressive politicians' smoke screens, American workers - voters with a stake in the economy and their communities - can see through all this.

Just as the lies the press publishes and the progressives tell about the Second Amendment are proved false by gun sales, the lies the press publishes about conservatives have been proven by President Elect Trump.

I feel like we've dodged a bullet, but that the shooters are still out there, biding their time. Let's get the Supreme Court issues wrapped up for the rest of our generations, and get on with responsible governance. As a Second Amendment oriented fiscal conservative and social libertarian, in truth, nobody in public office really represents me. I have to take the good where I find it...

CNN is very biased in this election.

I learned a new 3-character Chinese noun on wenxuecity.com (a misc website). The noun has been used to label CNN frequently in the past due to they liked pointing fingers on many world affairs. Not sure there is a direct English translation... by meaning, it's "a whore pretending to be Holy Mother of Christ".... Well, Beijing must like CNN on US election,,, at least, not labeling CNN this time.

Just read some Yahoo News reporting riot in Portland OR. That's a little bit surprising to me -- is Portland a big city with many liberals?

Another news reported that Trump reconfirmed that he planned to deport 2 to 3 million undocumented immigrants who have criminal records. This number is astonishing. If I remembered right, there are 12 million undocumented immigrants, and 25% has criminal records????!!! If he does this not in a controlled way but in big hurry, there could be a danger of causing social unrest in some cities.

There are checks and balances that prevent Trump from being too radical, so it won't be any kind of overnight revolution. Some doomsday prophets obviously think that he's going to pack them all into cattle trains and send them south, but that won't happen. It all takes time, and new ideas take longer. If too many think it's too controversial, it may not happen at all. Just look at what happened to Obama's great vision of gun control, and you'll see what I mean.
