I am sure you can win one of these at a carnival when one comes to town...This thing is an abomination that hurts the eyes as well as the soul. The only way this was taken off a German Officer is if he was working at the Buick bumper chroming works.
Many of my Friends and aquaintences have given you excellent advice, pursue a legitimate Luger and one, you will never again have to view this horrible gilded monster and two, you will have spent your money wisely and have a wonderfull legitimate piece of genuine history in your beginning collection.
