Lugers, Luger, Lugers...

Hi,
I've had a couple of 1940 HK's over the years and one had black grips and the other had brown. I believe Tracy is correct in that these were in transition and both are possible and correct.

Looks to me like he has some very nice Lugers and his prices are very close to what I see some others asking for theirs. Everything is high these days. People ask prime prices for prime pieces. I think the prices over the last two years have all gone completely out of reason, but people keep buying them. Guess it depends a lot if you own them, are looking for one, needing this variation, or just looking. --- Bill
