The Cartidge Counter was sold at auction in 1999 by Little John's auction service. I believe it went for either $26,000 or $28,000 plus a 10% buyers premium. John Gangel said that this was the first pistol he ever sold back in 1968. I was fortunate enough to hold and examine it. It's not everyday one of these comes along.

At the time I thought the price was a little high. It will be interesting to see how high it goes this time.
