In the next couple of days, I will try scanning mine and see if I can get better pictures. It is interesting to see the 3 variations.

While some people do not like these guns, I do! The stainless steel gives a very interesting look to such an old design. It also makes sure that some unscrupulus person cannot remark them and try to sell them as a rare variation unless they find a real sucker. They also add to the total number of Lugers available to actually shoot without damaging historically important pieces. Face it, the number of pre-1945 guns is getting smaller every day!

With that said, I also like the very beat-up 1906 American Eagle and mismatched artillery that I have. I now have an American Eagle stamped gun from circa 1906, 1970's and year 2000. They are all very nice guns to have and shoot. They also make an interesting trio.
