ID help for early Magazine..PHOTOS

Pete,
while what you said about flat and square checkering corresponds with a random check of my Erfurt magazines, Jan Stills does not actually say on page 81 of Imperial Lugers that the checkering is square. Only that they are flat. He does say that the quality at Erfurt fell off in the later war years. I read that to mean that anything goes.
