Navy RIP Join Date: Jun 2002 Location: Dc 'burbs in Virginia Posts: 2,482 Thanks: 0 Thanked 16 Times in 10 Posts	Ted, FWIW, my main gunsmith, who has worked on 'Brooms and Lugers for me, sez that the period 1930-1942 produced the hardest steel he has ever encountered. Always managed to break a couple of tools doing the job. Tom A.
