What??? You wouldn't like a Jenny from the Belfast Hotel???

I learned to drive on the way back to the lake from the Hotel. 1965, I was 15, my dad's 1962 Buick Special; 215ci aluminum V-8 w/3-speed on the column. We'd gone in to exchange a couple empty cases for some full ones. Dad had a couple at the bar and told me to drive.

You learn how to swim by jumping in the deep end.
