They do represent the imperial time and WWI. to compare them to "5 yellow cars " is somewhat silly.

if you want serious answers, give some serious details(pictures) of your lugers. I seriously doubt that having the group of 5 increases the value at all; unless they have some other attribute, like the same serial number, or are marked to the same unit.

Each Luger must be evaluated individually and the ONLY way for anyone to properly assign a potential value is to see clear, detailed pictures of each Luger from numerous angles. In addition, bore condition and internal serial numbers matter. The members here are as knowledgeable as you'll find anywhere WRT Lugers. They are not, however, magicians. To evaluate your Lugers, they require information that you have not provided. Until you provide sharp, clear and detailed pictures of each Luger, no one here can help you. We're willing to help but you must do your part in order to receive the help you want. |

Also, do not expect the group to have any extra value as a group. Unless there is some common detail, they will each be valued on their own.
Now, if you have one from each year, and all were marked as being issued to the same unit, then you'd have something. Maybe. Even then, you'd have to find the collector who wanted a set such as that. |
