Bill you are quite right.
Too many posters forget that what we think we "know" is usually only "opinion". I for one try to remember to put JMHO, or IMO on many responses where I rely on general info and no specific reference. Even a specific reference can be to someone else's opinion. As someone pointed out, just because we have not seen something before does not mean it never, cannot, or did not exist or happen. JMHO! Stating opinion as fact is the way "common incorrect knowledge" is spread and continued. And sometimes it is just "disremembering" without re-checking the "book".
