This description of the markings would make me think the pistol was refinished.
Dwight already mentioned the incomplete polishing of the safety "flag" area.

A nice job if it is refinished, and not done "yesterday"- but I believe it was refinished.

I see a price of $5,000 on the tag. That is too much in IMHO.
