Need help with magazine identification

Em, A photo of the markings on the bottom of your G date mag would be helpful in order to authenticate. I agree that the tube for this one should be nickel plated, but judging from your photo, I would say that this one has the earlier TIN plating. TH

Thanks guys. Was there a certain time when they switched from unmarked aluminum to plastic magazine bases?
