Sherlock, we are always ready to try and help! Welcome to the forum <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />
Holster / Tools would be close to that time period, in reality you might find a WW1 gun and WW2 holster and vice versa, but most collectors try to find the same year or a year here or there. Holsters on e-bay are cheaper right now, go from $85-150 and up, depending on color, brown ones go for a lot more, black not as high. Tools are $40-$75? In the condition you describe, it is a collector piece, unless reblued, modified or has bad pitting or scratches. As you can see below, I am interested in a guns history, I have collected about 30-40 stories of Vets and their guns they brought back. Please send me the story and pictures when you can. Borrow a digital camera or use a friends scanner, make numerous pictures, top, bottom, sides. Ed
